Never Lose Hope

GUEST WRITER
By Odimegwu Onwumere

The economy of the world is bad, but that of our country is biting like a wounded snake. This has made many of us sick. Some are indeed sick in the real word of sickness, but many are depressed. However, you don't have to lose hope to moving on with your life no matter the discordant man-made disastrous situations we are suffering in this country and in the entire world

There is no therapy as making your belief strong, that it is going to be better. Though, the spirit is always willing to move, but the flesh is a demon.

Cries and complaints can never and will never solve any problem, unless when you are before a person pleading for mercy. Never allow any distraction in your life. Distractions are factors that do not motivate you.

Why do people eat therapy as though it were a food? You can make yourself happy. Remember that anything that causes you to be angry controls your life. While you eat the therapies, remember that you are the better therapy.
Your parents and loved ones may help you but you owe yourself a great duty to make yourself happy. Never feel guilty about your present situation or the past events.

Your situation will never make all the people that know you to desert you, but they will runaway from you when you are not encouraging them to see reasons why they should continue to love you.

When you begin to think of death, just know that you are already dead. When you begin to think of life, you are already living. Whatever that occupies your heart rules your life.

No situation has ever remained permanent. Things change. But this can only happen when you turn your negative thoughts into positive thoughts.

You may have worked hard and put in the best but there is yet to be positive results; you should know that perseverance is the leeway to success. Understand that there is no quick avenue to wealth, but only you can make wealth come very quick than you expected, with perseverance.

If you feel that you are in a lot of pains, a lot of people have been in them before you. The worst of your problem is when you feel that there is no need to talk to people again.

Really, there is nothing that pays much better than association; it relieves a lot from us and brings in a lot into us.
When things seem not getting better please, never you give up. Never you question yourself that why is your condition like that, having examined yourself as a good person or a bad person. Good things always happen to bad people to learn how to do well, and bad things happen to good people to not indulge in doing bad.

Whether you are a job seeker, don't have a good resume and strong interviewing skills, remember that the most important quality in your life is to have hope.

The entire world over, it has not been easy. So, don't think that it is worse around you. There are very ugly comments everyday in the newspapers, anywhere in the world.

Professionals are also crying. Rich people are also wailing. Poor people are also having hope. What about you?
Being rich has a place in anybody’s life. Please, never lose hope no matter what your situation could be; many men have climbed mountings and surmounted all odds in making sure that their lives changed for the better. And their lives changed!

Despair is an everyday thing, but for how long shall you cry and wail?

"If you’ve stopped looking for work or know someone who has, the first step to finding a job is finding  new hope," said an article, "Losing Hope" (April 7, 2010). "Think about what you can do differently that will open the door to a new job."

Love the article on Gaddafi
We must rise above tribalism & divide & rule of the colonialist who stole & looted our treasure & planted their puppets to lord it over us..they alone can decide on whosoever is performing & the one that is corrupt..but the most corrupt nations are the western countries that plunder the resources of other nations & make them poorer & aid the rulers to steal & keep such ill gotten wealth in their country..yemen,syria etc have killed more than gadhafi but its not A̷̷̴ good investment for the west(this is laughable)because oil is not in these countries..when obasanjo annihilated the odi people in rivers state, they looked away because its in their favour & interest..one day! Hello from
Johannesburg
I was amazed to find a website for Africans in Hungary.
Looks like you have quite a community there. Here in SA we have some three million Zimbabweans living in exile and not much sign of going home ... but in Hungary??? Hope to meet you on one of my trips to Europe; was in Steirmark Austria near the Hungarian border earlier this month. Every good wish for 2011. Geoff in Jo'burg

I'm impressed by
ANH work but...
Interesting interview...
I think from what have been said, the Nigerian embassy here seem to be more concern about its nationals than we are for ourselves. Our complete disregard for the laws of Hungary isn't going to help Nigeria's image or going to promote what the Embassy is trying to showcase. So if the journalists could zoom-in more focus on Nigerians living, working and studying here in Hungary than scrutinizing the embassy and its every move, i think it would be of tremendous help to the embassy serving its nationals better and create more awareness about where we live . Taking the issues of illicit drugs and forged documents as typical examples.. there are so many cases of Nigerians been involved. But i am yet to read of it in e.news. So i think if only you and your journalists could write more about it and follow up on the stories i think it will make our nationals more aware of what to expect. I wouldn't say i am not impressed with your work but you need to be more of a two way street rather than a one way street . Keep up the good work... Sylvia
